The period for performing migration of Aspire settings will end on 28th March.

Scheduled maintenance will be taking place on ASPIRE@RGU on Wednesday 6th March 2013 between the hours of 18:00-20:00 GMT.

This maintenance is likely to only run for 10 minutes during this period, but it may run for the entire period. ASPIRE@RGU may be unavailable at times during this maintenance window.

In order to improve linking to electronic content from Aspire, all users logging into the system will be required to perform a migration to the new setup. This is a once-only process and involves simply carrying out the following process:

1. Sign into Aspire 

2. Enter your RGU user name and password in the boxes

3. You will now see this screen:

4. Click on “Log in again” to complete the process

We are pleased to be able to report the linking from CampusMoodle through to available resource lists on ASPIRE@RGU is now working again and that on campus access to ASPIRE@RGU is now working through both Firefox and Internet Explorer. Thank you for your patience while this issue was investigated and resolved.

The library is sorry to report that there are still problems with access to ASPIRE@RGU but that progress has been made in fixing this problem.

On campus you should now be able to access ASPIRE@RGU using the Firefox browser.

However there are still problems with using Internet Explorer and the links to ASPIRE@RGU lists within CampusMoodle are still not showing up.

We apologise for the continued problems with accessing ASPIRE@RGU and will keep you up to date as work is done in solving this.

We are sorry to report that there are currently problems with both the on campus access to ASPIRE@RGU and the links to ASPIRE@RGU lists not showing up in the modules on CampusMoodle. This problem has been reported and all parties are working to resolve this as quickly as possible.

If you are off campus you should still be able to access your ASPIRE@RGU resource lists from the main site. You can get access to this site through the library web pages or by following this direct link.

Once at the ASPIRE@RGU site simply search for your module number or name:

 
And if a list is available it will appear in the results:

 
You can then follow the link and look at and use the resource list.
